1. Introduction
Urosciences B.V. ("UROSCIENCES") supplies innovative products for urology and gynaecology including registration software belonging to these products. UROSCIENCES supplies this software as products to customers. UROSCIENCES does not process personal data of patients as processors in the sense of the General Data Protection Ordinance.
2. Applicability
This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of Personal Data by UROSCIENCES as the Data Controller. In these situations UROSCIENCES manages its own database with Personal Data for its own purposes. This is the case when processing data for our own CRM (customer registration system) and marketing purposes.
3. Collection and processing of Personal Data
Below you can read in which situations UROSCIENCES processes personal data for its own purposes.
Customer registration
UROSCIENCES collects contact details of (potential) clients and interested parties in order to execute an agreement and to keep them informed of current affairs, activities, products and services of UROSCIENCES through various channels. Data is collected when entering into an agreement, subscribing to the e-mail newsletter, asking a question to one of our employees, enquiring about activities, responding to the website or if you contact UROSCIENCES in any other way. UROSCIENCES collects company and contact information, bank details, contact and purchase history. UROSCIENCES also records derived information about the use of our website(s), such as a unique device ID, the operating system version and settings of the device used to visit our website, as well as information about the use of our services. UROSCIENCES does not provide Personal Data to third parties.

UROSCIENCES uses cookies and similar techniques. We do this in order to analyse our website and make it function optimally, in order to improve our services.

If you have the impression that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can ask us to limit the processing. If you have the idea that UROSCIENCES is not acting in accordance with the privacy legislation, please let us know. As of 25 May 2018 you can also submit a complaint to the AP.
6. Security
UROSCIENCES has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures. UROSCIENCES also engages third parties for the execution of its services. Insofar as these third parties process (personal) data in the performance of the services in question, they do so in the capacity of processor. The processor in question is (contractually) obliged to maintain an appropriate level of security and to handle personal data with care. In addition, personal data will not be kept longer than necessary in the light of the GTC and applicable statutory retention periods. UROSCIENCES makes use of systems or services of third party suppliers, whereby it is possible that the supplier also has access to data of our customers. Some of our suppliers are based in the USA. These parties are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield or contractual agreements exist with them on an appropriate level of security.
